On very vigorous plants, summer pruning helps to avoid lawlessness. It is enough to cut back by two-thirds the unruly new shoots.<\/li><li>After a few years, we must resort to coppicing, as well as in case of frost. A good way is to shorten every three years a third of the carpenters (the diameter of the finger, approximately) to 50-60 cm from the ground.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When to cut back passionflower?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Work in the spring (March).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Necessary material<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Secateurs ,<\/li><li>Shears,<\/li><li>Force pruner (delimber).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to cut the passionflower?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For a four-five-year-old plant:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Shear the whole plant, like a hedge.
