Comment:
Grandjean (1954:435) published the name Amerobelbidae without satisfying the provisions of ICZN Article 13.1, but see also Art. 13.2.1, under which Grandjean's later use of the name made it available from the 1954 work. Therefore, authorship of the family and corresponding superfamily names are attributable to Grandjean, 1954, not 1961, and the superfamily name Amerobelboidea thus has priority over Ameroidea, which dates to 1957
