Unresolved secondary homonymy is shown by Platnick (2012, online World Spider Catalog v12.5), where both Argoctenus vittatus (Rainbow, 1920) and Argoctenus vittatus (Simon, 1889) are listed as valid species. The latter is a junior secondary homonym and includes the comment 'a junior homonym of A. vittatus (Simon, 1888) but possibly [a synonym] of that name as well'
