Asellus hilgendorfii: Comments
Comment:
McLaughlin et al. (2005) Occurrence values: P[E?], H[E?]
Comment:
McLaughlin et al. (2005): Asellus "hilgendorfi Bovallius, 1886" species complex
Comment:
McLaughlin et al. (2005): Henry and Magniez (1995) consider A. hilgendorfii a complex or "superspecies." With so many records on the northwestern Pacific rim, there are also doubts about this species being an introduction; it could easily be a previously unrecognized native (G. Wilson, Australian Museum, personal communication)
