Pittie and Dickinson (2006) assert that the taxon authors should be Blyth and Kelaart because Kelaart uses Blyth's description and writes 'This beautiful pigeon we have named...'. However, the 'we' appears in the remarks under Blyth's description and at the start of Appendix C Kelaart explains in a footnote 'The 'remarks' are mine. - E. F. K.' Apparently Kelaart was using 'we' as a Royal plural, and the taxon author is Kelaart
