Crassula longipes: Comments
Comment:
According to Bywater & Wickens (1984:714-718), as originally described, Tillaea drummondii Torr. & A. Gray (TSN 522601) was based on two syntypes that are now recognized as two separate species. Those authors lectotypified the species under the name Crassula drummondii (Torr. & A. Gray) Fedde (TSN 565101) with one syntype from Texas, and referred the other syntype from Louisiana to the species Crassula longipes (Rose) Bywater & Wickens (TSN 501663). Usages of the name (or the various combinations based on it) prior to this act may refer to either or both currently-accepted species
