Comment:
Despite some confusion in certain sources, Cryptocelididae Laidlaw (08/1903:310) and Cryptocelidae Laidlaw (12/1903:12) are neither spelling variants nor even synonyms. Cryptocelididae was based on the genus Cryptocelides Bergendal 1890 (currently in Stylochoidea: Polyposthiidae), while Cryptocelidae was based on the genus Cryptocelis Lang 1884 (currently in Leptoplanoidea: Cryptocelidae)
