Comment:
According to Frost and Collins (1988), Cope (1860) published the name as Hypsiglena ochrorhynchus, and 'It is clear that Cope intended ochrorhynchus (Gr: yellow nose) as a noun used in association with the feminine generic name Hypsiglena. Thus, the treatment of ochrorhynchus as an adjective is incorrect.' Accordingly, the epithet should remain as ochrorhynchus no matter what the gender of the current genus
