Comments: Originally used as a tribe (Tribus) by Tullberg under his Order Glires, Suborder Simplicidentati, the first time this natural group was united together without various hystricomorphous forms. Includes: Hystricidae, Thryonomyoidea, Bathyergoidea, "Caviomorpha", and the Eocene-Oligocene Franimorpha.
