Neophasia terlooii: Comments
Comment:
Pelham (2008:175) notes of Neophasia terlooii Behr, 1869, "Even though this name is a patronym for Baron Popelaire de Terloot, there is no evidence for this in the original description. Behr (1889), Proc. Calif. Acad. Sci. (2)2: 92, emended the name to terlootii, but that was an unjustified emendation; the name must stand as originally spelled (Code Article 32.2)"
