Comment:
See comments in Dickinson (ed., 2003). Originally as "calthrapae," emended to "calthropae." Peters (1937) mistakenly used "calthorpae," but Dickinson argues that this has since earned the status of "prevailing usage" per the ICZN, despite being resurrected by Sibley & Monroe (1990). For the moment, ITIS will continue to follow the Zoonomen treatment, but will revisit as needed
