The original name (Reduvius tuberculatus Gray, 1832, not Reduvius tuberculatus Guérin, 1831, now a junior synonym of Helonotus sexspinosus) is a junior primary homonym. This has apparently not yet been resolved. See Kerzhner (1992:54)
