Comments: S. concolor has been reported from the Chinese provinces of Heilongjinag and Jilin (Yang et al., 1991); the relationship of these populations to S. caudata needs further study. Does not include S. armenica, S. caucasica, S. caudata, S. kazbegica, S. kluchorica, or S. tianshanica; see comments under respective species, under Sicista, and in Corbet (1978c:149, 1984:25).
