Suncus madagascariensis: Comments
Comment:
Status: IUCN - Lower Risk (lc)
Comment:
Comments: This species is often included in etruscus but treated as a full species in most reports on the fauna of Madagascar (e.g., Eisenberg and Gould, 1984). The population of Socotra has been included in S. etruscus by Hutterer and Harrison (1988), but unpublished genetic data show that it is closer to S. madagascariensis
