According to Hasle and Syvertsen (1997), Biddulphia longicruris Greville, 1859 has been transferred as Odontella longicruris (Greville) Hoban, 1983. No treatment was found accounting for B. longicruris hyalina (Schröder, 1906) Cupp, 1943, so for the moment, ITIS will retain this taxon linked directly to the genus record
