According to Johnson (1969:144), the 'Holothurien' volume (Band 1) was issued in 5 parts/booklets during 1867 and 1868, which were later bound into one volume. Parts 1 (pp.1-37) and 2 (38-70) were issued in 1867, part 3 (71-100) in 1867 or 1868, and parts 4 (101-176) and 5 (177-288) in 1868. A supplementary booklet, with a full index, was issued in 1895.
