Megachile mixtula Cockerell, 1907 was published as a replacement name for Megachile mixta Radoszkowski, 1874 (now as Megachile mixtula Cockerell, 1907) is a junior primary homonym of Megachile mixta Costa, 1863 (now as Megachile apicalis Spinola, 1808 (TSN 761030)) and senior primary homonym of Megachile mixta (Pasteels, 1970) (now as Megachile mixtura Eardley and R. P. Urban, 2006 (TSN 761807))
