Комментарий:
The original name was Chamaeleo furcifer, and the authors also noted the species Chamaeleo bifurcatus, thereby indicating they they treated it as masculine. The species name ending in -fer may be treated as either a noun or an ajective, and per ICZN Art. 31.2.2 it must therefore be considered a noun in apposition, which should not be changed to match the gender of the current genus. Thus, Calumma furcifer is the correct name in this genus, not C. furciferum
