Heminothrus bistriatus (Chakrabarti & Mondal, 1978) (TSN 736995), originally described in the genus Sigmonothrus, is an unresolved junior secondary homonym of Nothrus bistriatus Kotch, 1839. They are currently congeneric in Heminothrus, and if this is to continue, a substitute name will be needed for the junior homonym
