Comments: Rattus Division. An endemic of Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Although cranial conformation is distinctive, dental morphology allies Komodomys to Papagomys, another endemic of Nusa Tenggara found only on Flores Isl (Musser, 1981c; Musser and Boeadi, 1980).
