Cutler (1994:383) listed Nephasoma sewelli (Stephen, 1941) (originally in Physcosoma) as a species inquirendum. Cutler & Cutler (1983:181-182) examined the type material, concluding "in all respects these are clearly referrable to the subgenus Golfingia (Nephasoma)," now a full genus
