Oribatula interrupta saxicola (Kunst, 1959) is a junior secondary homonym of Oribatula saxicola Halbert, 1920, but since the two are not currently considered congeneric (the senior name is in Scheloribates), the junior name is to be retained, and the unnecessary replacement name (Oribatula interrupta major Mihelcic, 1963) is treated as a junior synonym (ICZN Arts. 59.2, 59.4)
