Family:Rosaceae
The St. Patrick™ Rose, a Hybrid Tea variety, features a subtle fragrance and is known for its yellow petals that develop a faint greenish tint as they mature. This rose produces blooms in waves from summer through fall.
It is an excellent choice for the front of a flower bed, complementing taller plants positioned behind it, as it grows densely to the ground.
While it is relatively low-maintenance, some care is necessary. The best time for pruning is late winter, after the risk of severe cold has diminished. During this process, it’s important to remove old canes, as well as any dead or diseased wood, and to cut back any canes that cross each other.
New growth is where the blooms will emerge.
Regarding pests, diseases, and other potential issues: this rose has thorns, so caution is advised. It's also important to avoid watering from above. In regions with colder climates, providing protection for the plant is recommended.
