Michener (2007) notes that Allodapula Cockerell 1934 could be treated as a junior synonym of Eucondylops Brauns 1902 "to eliminate probable paraphyly of the non-parasitic" genus; Schwarz (pers. comm. June 2008) disagrees, citing current molecular work
