Comment:
Asaphidion flavipes (Linnaeus, 1761) is a valid Eurasian species. Beetles assigned this name that were introduced into the United States were later found to be misidentified, and are actually Asaphidion curtum curtum (Heyden, 1870) (see Bousquet 2012:534)
