Originally described as Naidium pluriseta by Piguet (1906), the account history for this taxon in Brinkhurst (1971) suggests that it was later placed in the genus Aulodrilus by Piguet and Konrad Bretscher (1913); MJW needs to verify this, and add its citation to this account
