Centris hoffmanseggiae: Comments
Comment:
Cockerell (1897) originally applied the name Centris hoffmanseggiae to male and female specimens. Fox (1899) later determined that the females represented a different species, and named the new species Centris cockerellii. Multiple spelling variants have been used for these names
