Comment:
Concerning North American records that are referrable to other species, Pelham (2008:431) notes of Chlosyne marina (Geyer, 1837), "This species was erroneously reported from the U.S. based on an assumption of conspecificity with Chlosyne melitaeoides (C. Felder & R. Felder, 1867) and Chlosyne eumeda (Godman & Salvin, 1894) by Scott (1986: 301)"
