Comment:
Family group names (from superfamily to subtribe) based on the genus Colossendeis Jarzynsky 1870 are often attributed to Hoek 1881, but sometimes to Jarzynsky 1870. The 1870 work is difficult to get, but it should be checked to see if it really did contain an available family-group name based on this genus. If so, per ICZN Article 36 (Principle of Coordination), such a name at any family group name must be attributed to Jarzynsky too. Whatever author first made such a name available should be cited for the name at every family-group rank. As ITIS has not been able to consult the 1870 work, we are leaving authorship blank on the corresponding superfamily, family, and subfamilies
