Comments: Recorded only by the holotype. On Mt Katanglad, the montane C. suncoides is separated by about 700 m from the upper altitudinal range limits of C. melanius, which also occurs elsewhere in lowlands near sea level (Rickart et al., 1998). Standard karyotype (2n = FN = 36) substantially different from any other Philippine Old Endemic (Rickart et al., 1998; Rickart and Heaney, 2002)
