This taxon, Eclipidrilus palustris, was originally described (p. 459) and assigned as the type species in the genus Premnodrilus (also described in this same publication, p. 459); is currently placed within the subgenus Premnodrilus; however, since several other taxa in this genus and in other genera in this family have not yet been asigned to subgenera, I have not included subgeneric classifications in this ITIS list
