Graomys griseoflavus: Comments
Comment:
Status: IUCN - Lower Risk (lc)
Comment:
Comments: See remarks under G. centralis and G. domorum, taxa formerly included under G. griseoflavus as revised by Hershkovitz (1962). Pardiñas (1995) reallocated the late Pleistocene forms Bothriomys catenatus and Oxymicterus impexus, described by Ameghino (1889), as full synonyms of G. griseoflavus; these reallocations and other fossil sites in Buenos Aires establish the broader distribution of the species in the late Pleistocene
