Comment:
Berger (1929) validly published the combination Gymnocalycium hossei in the index (p.331) by using the asterix (* symbol, per p.337) to indicate it was a new name, while referring to p.226, despite having treated the genus Gymnocalycium as a subgenus of Echinocactus in the text (K.
