Sánchez-García et al. specifically decline to place this fossil genus in either subfamily, noting it doesn't belong with the genera of Madeoveliinae, but also that characters for Mesoveliinae are not visible. They note that 'the current classification of mesoveliid subfamilies and genera require revision'
