'Within the Lacistorhynchoidea, our analysis revealed six well-supported clades to which existing or recently suppressed family names can be applied and a lineage composed only of Ancipirhynchus afossalis' (Jensen and Caira, 2017; pg. 415-416) While Jensen and Caira (2017) place all genera within Lacistorhynchoidea directly under the superfamily, they are here putatively assigned to families according to the text and to Palm (2008)
