Kerzhner (1992:53) indicates that the correct name is Ocrioessa cornuta (sic!), but since there are no parenthetical numbers, this indicates it is a simple gender correction, rather than a more substantive correction. Berg (1879:176, not 179) described Rhyparloclopius cornutulus (the epithet means, roughly, bearing little horns). The gender correction of that epithet to match the feminine treatment of Ocrioessa would be O. cornutula, not O. 'cornuta'
