In Amin (2013) Echinopardalis macrurae (Meyer, 1931) is treated both as a species of Oligacanthorhynchus and of Oncicola; this is possibly because of disagreement amont specialists on whether genus Echinopardalis is a synonym of genus Oligacanthorhynchus or Oncicola (see Schmidt, 1972; Nickol and Dunagan, 1989)
