Comment:
The current status of this name is unclear. It was proposed by Walker (1873:205) in the errata section, to replace Reduvius tenebrosa Walker (1873: 185). This was due to the homonymy with Reduvius tenebrosus Walker 1873:194, although that latter name is now a junior secondary homonym & synonym of Reduvius tenebrosus (Stål, 1863)
