Tyler et al. list Scutarielloidea & Temnocephaloidea with authorship 'Baer, 1953.' Baer (1950:130) described 'Scutariellidata sub-ord. nov.' and 'Temnocephalata sub-ord. nov.' Given that Tyler et al. use the suffix -oidea, which is the ending required for subfamilies, and given that the family Scutariellidae Annendale 1912 & Temnocephalidae Monticelli 1899 already exist, under the ICZN Principle of Coordination, the names used by Tyler et al. may be considered superfamilies, and would take authorship matching the families. Given the confusion, we omit the authorship on these names for now
