There is some uncertainty about whether Thalia dealbata was first validly published by Fraser (Thal. dealbata t. 1, 1794) or by Fraser ex Roscoe (Trans. Linn. Soc. London 8: 340, 1807; http://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page/766823 ). The latter appears to be either a re-use of the validly published Fraser name, or the first valid publication of the name invalidly published by Fraser
