Phonetic Spelling:yoo-FOR-bee-uh mar-TIN-ee

Genus:Euphorbia

Species:

Family:Euphorbiaceae

Martins' spurge is a hybrid subshrub that originated in France and was identified in the late 19th century. This plant is a result of crossing the Mediterranean spurge with Wood Spurge. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. Once established, it can withstand rocky, dry conditions and periods of drought. To encourage a fuller growth habit, pinch or prune the plant back to about 6 inches in height in mid-spring, just after it has flowered.

Regarding pests and diseases, Martins' spurge does not face significant issues. However, it is important to wear gloves when handling this plant due to its toxic milky sap.
