Genus:Ligustrum

Family:Oleaceae

Golden Privet is a hybrid plant that does not produce seeds and features striking golden-yellow leaves. It can reach heights of up to 12 feet and spread about 10 feet wide, making it an excellent choice for creating a privacy screen or hedge. This plant adapts well to different soil conditions and is also resistant to deer. While its spring blooms emit a fragrance, it may not be universally appealing. In the fall, the foliage transitions from yellow to chartreuse and eventually to a reddish hue.
