Since its introduction in 2001, this shrub has captivated both gardeners and commercial growers with its versatility in landscaping. Reaching a height of 3 feet and spreading 3 to 4 feet wide, it serves well as a low hedge, a foundation plant, or even in decorative outdoor pots.
This evergreen shrub showcases leaves that emerge in spring with a hint of pink, transitioning to a rich dark green by summer. 'Rose Creek' abelia is wonderfully compact and thrives in full sun to partial shade. Once established, it demonstrates excellent drought and erosion resistance. Although it may suffer damage during harsh winters, it reliably regrows in the spring.
