  • Photo of Rosa 'Radtreasure' (Rosa 'Radtreasure's)

Phonetic Spelling:RO-zuh

Genus:Rosa

Species:

Family:Rosaceae

This Grandiflora intraspecific hybrid rose showcases clusters of vibrant pink to salmon-hued blooms, exuding a light and delightful fragrance. It thrives in full sunlight and prefers average to moist soil conditions, but it cannot tolerate standing water or shade. This variety shows a degree of resilience to urban environments. During the first year, it’s advisable to provide regular feeding with an all-purpose fertilizer, and annual pruning should be done in late winter.

The plants grow upright and bushy, making them ideal for use as screens, hedges, or in sunny shrub borders. They also serve beautifully as specimen plants and adapt well to containers, cutting gardens, cottage gardens, or English gardens. Their growth habit allows them to fill in completely, eliminating the need for smaller plants in front. The new foliage emerges in an appealing burgundy shade.
