This plant typically blooms from spring to early summer, with the possibility of a second bloom in the fall. It usually reaches a height and width of 6 to 12 inches and has the ability to reseed itself under favorable conditions.
This species favors sandy, well-drained soils but can adapt to any well-drained soil type, thriving in full sun to partial shade. It exhibits moderate to high tolerance to drought conditions.
